Translational Biomedical Research Awards for the 2023 competition announced.

SreePVF is delighted to announce the results of the 2023 competition for Translational Biomedical Sciences Research Grant. The competition was fierce, with an array of exceptional applications raising the bar significantly and the Committee faced the challenging task of selecting the standout projects for recognition.

A particularly gratifying development this year was the substantial increase in female applicants, surging from 28% last year to a commendable 42% this year—a promising shift to gender inclusivity.

In line with the approach from the previous year, the Committee chose to honor two projects that promised excellence and innovation. Both projects, focusing on Dental Sciences and Hearing Impairment, represent crucial areas often overlooked in our country’s priorities. The projects offered cost-effective solutions poised to make a significant impact on large segments of the population.
